Gratitude & Change:
I am absolutely amazed at how much momentum this contest gained. A few dozen people decided to take time out of their day to give feedback, and offer comments on pieces they admired, but had previously neglected to commend. Literally over a thousand members in the community received some form of feedback because of the efforts of a few, which is just absolutely mind-blowing to think about.
I am always in awe of how a few good intentions can go such a long way. To everyone that participated in this contest, or promoted the contest, or donated a prize, I want to sincerely thank you for your contributions. My hope is that by participating, or even knowing of the mission of the contest, that even just a select few will have a changed outlook on how they treat Favorites in their collection.
It's important to remember that as an art community, we all thrive on communication and interaction with one another. Often, the very first point of contact, is with one simple comment.
