Megan is beginning to consume the bulk of my gallery, but she's just so darn lovely! I'm preparing for my upcoming dark beauty editorial next week, so in the meantime I'm working through my backlog to get back in the swing of things.
This shoot in particular was one of my favorite to date. There was a really great collaborative spirit from everyone involved, and even though the weather was working against us, we all had fun and walked away with some great images. The idea itself came about due to Megan being a caretaker for many animals at a sanctuary she volunteered at. This camera shy little bunny happened to be one of them, as were the turtle doves featured in another image.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactI dno't know what to start with, so I'd better start with emotions - pure, warm, very enticing photo. It's amazing how a vision can come to life and transcend in a beautiful artwork. This is exactly what's happened here. Great hues, love the focus. The focus on the model is amazing, sharp and at the same time giving this impression of being almost one with the background. A real work of art Kendra. Reminds me of Lady with an Ermine, which I absolutely adore. There's the same impression of serenity and sincerity in both. Impeccable crop and great lens-model distance.
