Queen of the Undone - Part I by Kendra-Paige Queen of the Undone - Part I by Kendra-Paige

Day One of my annual Creative Week is in the bag, with a conceptual shoot to kick us off. I wanted to do this shoot to test out my fog machine outdoors (turns out it doesn't work), but I still managed to get some great shots.

Stay tuned for Part II! Feedback, comments, and critique are always welcome.

I really delight in your "evil yet beautiful" motif. I wish you'd do more.

I love this contrast between the green and the red tones of the background, it gives more power than an only picture and it's a good choice to put them together  I love too this contrast between something in the first plan for the left (like blurred vegetation) and nothing for the second one where the model has such a pose full of life. Good work !

Beautiful contrast between the photos, both in color and contrasting poses. :)
How did you light the photos?
I'm most curious about the lighting in the photo on the left, it looks somewhat similiar, but I'm not quite sure. :)

Thank you so much!

The lighting on the left was done with a 22" beauty dish about 6 feet above the model. I recently purchased a boom arm, having never used one before, and I wanted to test it out to see what the fuss was about. It's incredibly handy.

The photo on the right was just natural lighting.
